Have you always wanted to find a good summary of “In Search of Lost Time”?

Translated from French.

Have you always wanted to find a good summary of “In Search of Lost Time”? 🤓

Lucky them! Marcel Proust wrote just that in a few pages to Madame Scheikévitch, on the opening pages of his copy of “Swann's Way”. 📖🖋️

This text has remained famous and was a holy grail for Proust enthusiasts. 🤩 However, @labnf acquired this exceptional copy in 2021. ✨✨👏🏻

The text itself was probably written between November 1915 and October 1916, and Marie Scheikévitch, who had been encouraged by Proust to write her memoirs, published it as part of a collection of letters ✉️📬 accompanied by a sketch of Proust, following the author’s death. Her own memoirs, entitled “Souvenirs d’un temps disparu”, were published in 1935. 📚🕰️

You can now find this amazing post in my Stories. 🙌🏻✨
