My Proustian library
Translated from French.
My Proustian library 📚❤️🩹
A year ago, I already owned Proust’s major works: “The Search” from @quarto_livres, a few scattered volumes of his correspondence from @editions1018 and @editions.sillage, and “Pleasures and Days” in the little ‘1001 Nights’ edition. 🌙
But over the course of the year, with “Finding Time Again” on the syllabus for the 2023 Agrégation, my passion for Proust sometimes turned into an obsession. 😵💫
And that’s how @proustagram came about! 🤷🏻♂️
The catalogues for the three exhibitions @museecarnavalet, @mahjparis and @labnf; the reprint of a selection of letters by @editionsplon; “Le Temps perdu” @editions_bouquins, not to mention the previously unpublished early works from @classiques_garnier or “Osez (re)lire Proust” from @librio_flammarion … 🫣
I’ve also collected a number of essays on Proust, both old and new, such as “Un amour de Proust” by @jeanmarc.quaranta, published by @editions_bouquins 🤓, “Petits pans de Proust” by @daniel.kay.33483, published by @editionsdesinstants 👌🏻, the works of Antoine Compagnon @collegedefrance, Jean-Yves Tadié, Henri Bonnet, Bernard de Fallois, André Maurois, Ramon Fernandez, Léon Pierre-Quint, François Mauriac, the journal “Europe”, @editionsgrasset @editionsdelherne @editionsklincksieck @editionspoints @calmann.levy @editions_pocket @editionsexils @editionsducanoe @editionsbartillat , etc. 🥵
As the school year draws to a close, it’s time for a bit of tidying up and sorting. So I’m going to start, together with you, a (not-so-small) inventory of my Proustian library. 🖋️✔️
I’m planning to sell some of these items, so if you see any that take your fancy, please do drop me a line via the messaging service. 📨📬📦

May I ask if there’s a programme called ‘Proust and his friends’?
We mustn’t sell anything!!!
