Some of my recent acquisitions: books by and about Proust.

Translated from French.

Some of my recent purchases: books by and about Proust. 🤓📚❤️‍🩹

That’s not all! 🫣

In order:

1. Marcel Proust and Gaston Gallimard, “Correspondence”, Blanche series, @editions_gallimard 1989, reprinted in 2022 — a substantial volume that usefully complements the correspondence with Jacques Rivière published by @editions.sillage. 👌🏻✨

2. Élisabeth de Gramont, “Marcel Proust”, published by @flammarionlivres in 1948, reissued by @editionsbartillat in 1991, reprinted in 2021 — a tribute. 🤓

3. Daniel Halévy, “Pays parisiens”, first edition published by Émile Paul, 1929, uncut — reminiscent of Proust. 🥰

4. Proust, “Letters”, published by @editionsplon in 2004, reprinted in 2022 — a selection of letters taken from the “Correspondance générale” compiled by Philip Kolb in the 1970s. 📚

5. Marcel Proust, “On Baudelaire, Flaubert and Morand”, published by Complexe in 1987, with a foreword by Antoine Compagnon, who was working at the time on the Pléiade edition of “Sodom and Gomorrah”. 🖋️
